The Music Producers Guild (MPG) has announced two of its most prestigious honorees ahead of the 2026 awards ceremony, celebrating the creative forces that define the sound of modern music. Ivor Novello-winning hitmaker KAMILLE will receive the MPG Inspiration Award, while legendary mix engineer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent is set to be honoured with the Icon Award.

The ceremony, held in association with Dolby and Mix With The Masters, will take place on Thursday 16th April 2026 at The Troxy in London.

KAMILLE (Camille Purcell), a former stockbroker turned powerhouse producer and label owner, is being recognized for an extraordinary career that has amassed over 31 billion Spotify streams. Her "Inspiration Award" places her in the company of previous winners like Nile Rodgers and Stormzy. With six UK No.1 singles and collaborations with the likes of Dua Lipa, Fred Again.., and Fred Again.., she remains the youngest Black female recipient of an Ivor Novello for Outstanding Song Collection.

"It really means a lot to be recognised by the producer and engineering community," KAMILLE remarked. "That’s my world, and I have so much respect for the craft."

Joining her on the podium is Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, whose career behind the console has shaped three decades of iconic records. From Beyoncé and U2 to his recent work on Harry Styles' highly anticipated new album, Stent’s "Icon Award" acknowledges his unparalleled influence on the industry. Stent noted he was "genuinely honoured" to be recognized by peers who understand the "graft and obsession" of record-making.

MPG Executive Director Emma Townsend praised KAMILLE as an "incredible force," while Cameron Craig hailed Stent’s "creativity and precision" as foundational to modern music.

The full 2026 MPG Awards will celebrate the best in British production and engineering talent. Tickets for the gala at The Troxy are currently on sale via the official MPG website.
