Snoop Dogg has spoken out in defence of David Beckham amid the ongoing rift within the Beckham family.

The Gin & Juice rapper has publicly backed the former England captain after his son Brooklyn Beckham shared an explosive statement revealing that he has no plans to reconcile with his family following months of feud rumours.

In the post, Brooklyn alleged that David and his mother, Victoria Beckham, repeatedly attempted to "ruin" his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. He also claimed that they "controlled narratives in the press" about their family for his "entire life".

Snoop, who acted as DJ at Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding in 2022, made it clear that he is firmly on David's side, describing the football icon as a devoted family man.

"David is my boy, we have been friends for over 20 years now," he told the Mirror. "We have seen each other's kids grow up, and one thing about David is that he is a family man."

The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker continued, "It doesn't matter what level of success he has had in his life, there ain't nothing more important to him than his family."

Snoop also suggested that the family's issues could be resolved with time.

"No family is perfect, right, but when you are a family in the public eye, it's hard - it's even more of a pressure," he told the outlet. "I know the love that family has for each other - and in time, they are gonna work things out."

Brooklyn, 26, posted the bombshell statement on Instagram early last week.

David and Victoria, who also share sons Cruz and Romeo and daughter Harper, have not yet commented publicly.
