The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard has today confirmed that global phenomenon Harry Styles will take the stage for a world-first performance. Returning to the BRITs for the first time since his 2023 clean sweep, Styles will deliver the live television debut of music from his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.

A Historic Homecoming to Manchester

In a major shift for the ceremony, the 2026 awards will move to their new home at Co-op Live in Manchester on Saturday, 28th February. The move is celebrated by this year's iconic trophy, designed by Manchester-born fashion legend Matthew Williamson. The amber-toned resin award is inspired by the "worker bee" mascot, a symbol of the city’s resilience.

Comedian Jack Whitehall returns for his sixth stint as host, bringing the ceremony to life for viewers on ITV and ITVX. Styles joins previously announced performer Olivia Dean on a lineup that promises to be one of the most star-studded in the event's history.

Leading the 2026 Nominations

The announcement comes amid a fever pitch of excitement following last week’s nominations. Olivia Dean and Lola Young lead the field with five nods each, followed closely by Mercury Prize winner Sam Fender. The 2026 shortlists also feature a blend of British icons like Pulp (their first nomination since 1996) and international heavyweights including Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and Sabrina Carpenter.

Styles’ "Disco" Era Begins

For Harry Styles, the performance serves as the perfect launchpad for his new record, due for release on March 6th. The appearance follows the release of his new single "Aperture" and the news of a colossal 50-date residency tour, which includes a record-breaking 12-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium.

As the BRITs partner with Manchester for the BRITs Fringe—a series of events celebrating the city’s musical heritage—the ceremony remains a vital fundraiser for The BRIT Trust, supporting music education and therapy through institutions like The BRIT School and Nordoff and Robbins.
