Ray J has claimed he "almost died" amid a recent hospitalisation for pneumonia.
Earlier this month, the R&B singer - real name William Ray Norwood Jr. - was rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas after he began to suffer from breathing issues and "heart pains".
Returning to Instagram this week, Ray J offered fans an update on his condition.
"My heart's only beating 25 per cent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right," he told the camera. "My health is not OK, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me through everything I've been in the hospital."
Ray J went on to give a shout-out to his parents, sister Brandy, and Love Cabin castmate, Shila Hasanoff, for their ongoing support.
"There's a few people that's helped me kind of survive this," the 45-year-old continued, adding, "I love you, Shila."
And in the accompanying caption, Ray J wrote, "Just almost died!! I'm alive because of your prayers and support!!"
While in a separate video posted on Tuesday, Ray J predicted he may not live much longer.
"2027 is definitely a wrap for me. That's what they say," he stated, while a friend replied, "Don't say that...f**k the doctor."
The artist has had a turbulent few months in his personal life.
Last November, Ray J was arrested after he allegedly pulled a gun on his estranged wife, Princess Love, amid an incident that was captured during a livestream.
In a rant, he claimed he was having "the worst Thanksgiving" ever and alleged someone was attempting to take his children.
Ray J and Princess, who married in 2016, share daughter Melody, seven, and son Epik, six.
In February 2024, the TV personality filed for divorce from the One Wish hitmaker for the fourth time, having requested to dismiss similar filings on three previous occasions. Their current relationship status is unknown.
