In quite the unexpected turn of events, Victoria Beckham’s 2001 single Not Such An Innocent Girl becomes the UK’s best-selling single of the week, a quarter of a century after its release, according to Official Charts.

Fuelled by fan support this week in the wake of Brooklyn Beckham’s social media revelations about The Beckhams’ family life, Not Such An Innocent Girl storms to Number 1 on the Official Singles Sales Chart and Official Download Chart, marking Victoria’s first taste of solo chart-topping success outside of the Spice Girls.

Sales and streams of the track surge 19,615% week-on-week, according to Official Charts Company data, though not quite enough to make the overall Official Singles Chart Top 100.

The glistening pop-R&B track, which references a "secret rose tattoo," a true Y2K-era signifier, peaked at Number 6 on the Official Singles Chart in 2001 - one of four Top 10 solo hits for Posh Spice.
