Sylvester Stallone's one-time showpiece home is barely recognisable, thanks to singer Adele's ambitious renovation plans.
The Grammy-winning vocalist has completely gutted the estate she bought from the actor in 2022, wiping away nearly every trace of the Rocky star's former home, the Daily Mail reports.
The sweeping transformation of the Beverly Park mansion is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious celebrity renovations in Los Angeles, with costs expected to soar beyond $50 million (£37.2 million). That figure is roughly the same amount she paid for the property four years ago.
The only original feature still standing is the iconic swimming pool, famously adorned with a statue of Stallone posing as his legendary boxing character.
Stallone's home was Mediterranean-style with terracotta roofing, whereas Adele's is ultra-modern with full-length windows all around the property.
The mammoth job is being handled by construction company Valle Reinis. It's been under construction since January 2022 and could be more years before the makeover is complete. The January 2025 fires in the Pacific Palisades destroyed thousands of properties and likely contributed to some unexpected delays on Adele's home this year, the Mail speculates.
The property is also located in a Very High fire hazard severity zone and will need special cool roof materials, among other fire zone specifications.
Moving into the home once it's eventually finished will be Adele, her teenage son from her marriage to Simon Konecki, and her sports agent fiancé, Rich Paul.
