Hip-hop legend Kurupt has reportedly been hospitalised for weeks due to unknown health issues.
The music artist, who is also known for being part of the rap duo Tha Dogg Pound, is currently still in the hospital but is on the road to recovery, TMZ reported on Tuesday.
The outlet's sources did not disclose further details about what led to the performer first being hospitalised weeks earlier.
Kurupt, whose legal name is Ricardo Emmanuel Brown, was born in Philadelphia but later relocated to Los Angeles when he was a teenager.
His successful music career began in the early 1990s when he became a member of the hip-hop duo Tha Dogg Pound with rapper Daz Dillinger under Death Row Records, which is currently owned by Snoop Dogg.
Earlier this week, Dillinger took to Instagram to share a series of snaps with Kurupt and called on fans to send his close pal words of support.
"God said we shall live and not die," he wrote. "Want to send a big shout out to my big brother @offical_kurupt.
"Get well, speedy recovery, need all fanz to send Kurupt a get well message. Flood his Instagram, tell him how much we love him."
Kurupt has collaborated with a number of other stars over the years, including Ty Dolla Sign, DJ Quik, Xzibit, DJ Lethal, Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre.
