Leigh-Anne Pinnock has opened up about her marriage to Andre Gray, revealing the couple went through a "weird time" in their relationship.

The former Little Mix star has shared an update on her marriage to the professional footballer, whom she wed in 2023. The couple, who began dating in 2016, are parents to twin daughters born in 2021.

Appearing on the latest episode of Paloma Faith's Mad Sad Bad podcast, Leigh-Anne reflected on a difficult period in their relationship after she previously revealed that she only sees her husband "three days a month" due to his career.

"I went through a bit of a weird time with my husband actually and - I mean, I wrote a whole EP about it - but that sort of not being totally honest and losing trust and that kind of betrayal, I think," she said, referring to her debut solo EP, No Hard Feelings.

The 34-year-old confessed that the difficult period left her "heartbroken".

"Heartbreak is wild, it's awful and especially someone that you're so madly in love with and think that they are as well - and they can hurt you," the Black Magic hitmaker told Paloma.

Leigh-Anne explained that the problems began before Andre, 34, moved to Greece to play for Super League Greece club Aris Thessaloniki in 2022. However, she said the time apart ultimately proved beneficial for their marriage.

"I think that person has to want to change and he did," the singer stated. "And I think you can go through things in a relationship, but if they aren't willing to change for you, forget it."

She went on to reveal that Andre, who now plays for Turkish team Fatih Karagümrük, began attending therapy, which "really helped". His move abroad also gave him "more time to himself to kind of look and realise that everything that he was doing was not how you make a relationship work, it's not. It's selfish."
