Céline Dion is set to make a splash on TikTok.

In a short video posted to the social media platform on Monday, the Canadian superstar announced that she's committed to sharing more on her account.

"My name is Céline. How old am I? I've got kids," she began, with the footage showing her wearing a black sweatshirt with "CELINE" emblazoned across the front.

Quoting her three sons, the My Heart Will Go On singer recalled them telling her, "We have to get you on TikTok."

"On TikTok? I've heard that before. Suddenly I'm becoming cool. Céline Dion is cool. That's amazing. TikTok, here I come. Ciao," she concluded the clip.

In the accompanying caption, Céline promised her 4.7 million followers that she will be hands-on with her content.

"They told me, 'Céline, it's time...' I asked, 'Time for what?' Turns out... something completely new. My team then said they'd handle everything, handed me back my phone, and then quietly disappeared. So here I am, learning how this TikTok world works... one video at a time! Thank you for being here, I'm glad we're here together," the music icon wrote.

And at the start of the month, Céline returned to her Instagram page to wish all of her 9.5 million followers a Happy New Year.

"As we welcome this New Year, I want to take a moment to send you all my love. May this year bring you good health, happiness, and peace in your heart," the 57-year-old commented. "I hope you find laughter in the little things, strength in the hard times, and joy in the memories you create with those you love."

To finish, Céline thanked fans for "keeping me in your hearts".

"You are always in mine. From my family to yours, I just want to wish you, a Happy New Year," she added.

Céline shared sons René-Charles, 24, and 15-year-old twins, Nelson and Eddy, with her late husband René Angélil. Talent manager René died at the age of 73 in 2016.
