Jessie J has described 2025 as "one of the hardest but most magical years of her life" in a reflective Instagram post.

The Price Tag singer, who went public with her early-stage breast cancer diagnosis in June, reflected on her "heavy and hard" year in an emotional Instagram Stories post on Tuesday.

"In a world full of 'everything is fine, I'm happy, I'm good, life is perfect' there is (grief), hurt, pain, sadness, heartbreak and reflection and processing happening this time of year for many of us, alongside the good and great or on its own," she wrote alongside a teary-eyed selfie.

"This year has been heavy and hard in many ways for all of us. For me personally one of the hardest but most magical years of my life. Personally and professionally."

The 37-year-old candidly admitted that "all the sadness has come up" since she's stopped working for the first time in months, and she's currently feeling "really low".

"So I'm crying a lot. Writing s**t down feeling really low tbh. The lowest I have felt in a while. An accumulation of stuff just making its way to the surface and I'm letting it out," she continued.

Jessie reminded her followers that it was "healthy and normal to cry" and that it's not possible to be happy and positive all the time.

"Sending love to anyone feeling this way too right now. No positive end to this. Just I'm with ya. It's s**t sometimes," she added.

The British singer underwent a mastectomy shortly after announcing her diagnosis in June, and she will have to undergo a second operation in the near future.

The mother of one has also had a busy year professionally with the release of Don't Tease Me with a Good Time, her first album in seven years.
