Britney Spears has called out her family for allegedly not inviting her to their Christmas Day celebrations.

Last week, the pop star's younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, posted a festive photo of herself, her husband Jamie Watson, daughters Maddie, 17, and Ivey, seven, her mother Lynne Spears, and 20-year-old nephew Sean Preston Federline.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Britney slammed her family in a sarcastic message.

"Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can't fix," she wrote. "To my dear sweet innocent family... so so sorry I was busy this Christmas but I will definitely show up and surprise you soon."

Britney went on to give a shout-out to her niece Ivey.

"I just want to hold you, my love... Godspeed, friends," the 44-year-old added.

Earlier this week, editors at People magazine reported that Britney spent Christmas with her other son, Jayden James Federline, 19.

The Toxic hitmaker shares Sean and Jayden with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Britney has been estranged from her family following the end of her 13-year conservatorship, which lasted until November 2021.

However, the Gimme More star has indicated she was on better terms with her sons in recent social media updates.

Representatives for Jamie Lynn have not yet responded to Britney's latest message.
