Susan Boyle has responded after Timothée Chalamet praised her unforgettable Britain's Got Talent audition and ability to dream big.

Earlier this week, the Dune actor was asked to name who he believes are the U.K.'s greats and, to fans' surprise, he included the former Britain's Got Talent contestant among his choices and praised her viral 2009 audition.

In response, Susan took to Instagram to share that she was "flattered" by the Call Me by Your Name actor's words.

"This has been so incredibly touching to read. I'm very flattered, @tchalamet," she wrote. "Those early days were quite something, and to know that moment meant something to you all these years on truly humbles me."

The singer, who came second on Britain's Got Talent, went on to encourage others to dream big.

"We all start somewhere, with a dream and a bit of hope, don't we? We should all dream big!" she penned. "I wish you every success as you continue to dream your own dream."

Susan concluded the post by adding, "Thank you for your kindness and for remembering that moment so fondly."

Speaking to BBC News, Timothée praised Susan's pursuit of her dreams.

"She dreamt bigger than all of us," he told the outlet.

"Who wasn't moved by that?" Timothée added, referring to the Scottish singer's 2009 Britain's Got Talent audition, which saw her perform a rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables. "I remember that like it was yesterday. That was like the advent of YouTube, you know."
