Taylor Swift has opened up about the two moments she says defined her year.
The pop superstar reflected on the most significant moments of her year during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night.
Taylor told the host that the standout highlights were becoming engaged to American football player Travis Kelce and buying back the rights to her first six albums following a lengthy dispute after the masters were sold to record executive Scooter Braun in 2019.
"Those were two things that just might never have happened," she said. "They could have just never happened. It wasn't like, 'Oh, it's just a matter of time.'"
The Lavender Haze hitmaker added that she is "so grateful" to have achieved those personal and professional milestones.
"Both of those things could have just never arrived in my life, and I'm so grateful for both of those things happening," she shared.
Elsewhere in the interview, Taylor opened up about her relationship with Travis, describing the NFL star as one of the three people she turns to most for advice.
"My third favourite person, and it's not in any order, because I do talk to him more than the other two is Travis," she commented. "I can talk to him about any of this you know."
The Bad Blood hitmaker also named the other two trusted confidants as producer Max Martin, who worked on her latest album The Life Of A Showgirl, and Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks.
Taylor and Travis, who started dating in the summer of 2023, announced their engagement on 26 August.
