Ariana Grande has conceded The Eternal Sunshine Tour will be "small" compared to the global arena treks she used to take on.

In August, the We Can't Be Friends singer announced that she will play 41 shows next year, kicking off in Oakland, California on 6 June 2026 and concluding in London on 1 September 2026.

The concerts will be in support of her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, which was released in March 2024.

As part of a conversation with Nicole Kidman for Interview magazine published on Monday, Ariana noted that she was getting excited to go on the road again.

"We're doing a small amount compared to what I used to do back in the day. I think it's 45 shows," the pop star commented, while the Australian actress declared, "Wow. That doesn't sound that small."

In response, Ariana emphasised, "It's not that small, but it's at least half of what I used to do."

The 7 Rings hitmaker went on to share that she has had to "heal" her relationship to music and touring in recent years.

"I spent a lot of time redoing my system when it comes to making music. With Eternal Sunshine, that felt like a very different experience for me," the 32-year-old mused. "I think the time away from it helped me reclaim certain pieces of it and put certain feelings that maybe belonged to my relationship to fame, or the things that come with being an artist, in a box somewhere else, and say, 'OK. I don't have to let go of this thing that I love. I can just put those things over here and not lose sight of my gifts.'"

Ariana has had a busy few months, having wrapped the international press tour for her new movie, Wicked: For Good, last week. She also recently finished filming the fourth Meet the Parents movie, Focker-in-Law.
