Global pop icon Kylie Minogue kicked off the festive season this morning by exclusively debuting her brand-new Christmas song, "XMAS," on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Scott Mills. The surprise debut celebrates the tenth anniversary of her beloved holiday album, which is being re-released as Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) and features four all-new tracks.

The singer joined Scott Mills to share the exciting news, revealing she had been recording the new songs in secret during breaks on her high-energy Tension Tour. “There may have been some… A few sessions in between breaks on the Tension Tour this year where I probably should have been doing nothing but no. I went to the studio and worked on some new Christmas songs,” Kylie told Scott.

She admitted that the only festive prop she brought on the road to maintain the holiday spirit was a Christmas stocking, which she humorously brought along from her CBeebies Bedtime Story recording. Despite the summer recording dates, Kylie confirmed the new song, which has been "10 years in the making," was finally ready.

Scott Mills, a self-proclaimed "Christmas creeper," eagerly played the track for the first time anywhere on the radio. Kylie later revealed that a cheeky new song called "Office Party" is also included on the expanded album.

The full re-release, Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped), is set to give fans more music to love, just in time for the holidays. As Kylie told Scott, "Let's get Christmas started!"
