Mark Ronson reveals he DJ’d at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding last week.

Mark Ronson joined Scott Mills for BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show this morning where he reveals how he’s keeping his year open in case Taylor Swift asks him to DJ at her wedding.

Mark talks about his stepdad Mick Jones (Foreigner guitarist) and reveals that Mick wrote the famous love song ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’ for his mum.

Mark discloses that the houses on MTV Cribs were not their real houses, with the exception of his own house which was tiny. Mark says he’s very grateful that ‘Uptown funk’ is a massive wedding song. He also shares some of his early DJ names, including Old English, Mark The Spark and Spark Ronson.

Mark Ronson reveals to Scott that he’s keeping the year open in case Taylor Swift asks him to play at her wedding. He also revealed how he recently played at Selena Gomez’s wedding:

Scott: Hey, I have seen that Foreigner have offered to play Taylor Swift’s wedding.
Mark: I saw that too.
Scott: I wonder if she has said anything yet.
Mark: I think there is a lot of people putting themselves up for that gig. Me, I am keeping the year open as well.
Scott: You never know.
Mark: You don’t know who is going to get the call. I did DJ a wedding that apparently she was at a week ago.
Scott: A week ago?
Mark: I did not see her on the dancefloor so I probably didn’t do the best job of selling… Selling my services there.
Scott: Was this the Selena Gomez wedding?
Mark: It was. This was that.
Scott: And Benny Blanco.
Mark: It was a lot of fun. I have known Benny for ten years and when he got engaged he was like will you come and do like a 90s DJ set at my wedding and I was like sure.
Scott: He is one of my favourite interviews that I have ever done.
Mark: Really?
Scott: What a guy. What a load of fun he is.
Mark: Yeah, he is amazing.
Scott: And I can totally see why she has married him. You would not stop laughing. But, Mark is here if you need him Taylor I know you will be getting a lot of this but it’s Mark Ronson.
Mark: You could also get a good deal. Like we could do the Foreigner Mark Ronson group deal or something?
Scott: That’s great. Like a package. A wedding package.
Mark: Exactly. That’s the word I was looking for.
