British rock giants Kasabian have confirmed their largest-ever London headline show, set for Finsbury Park on July 4, 2026. The announcement follows a successful summer of festival appearances and marks a significant milestone for the band, solidifying their reputation as one of the UK’s premier live acts.
In celebration of the news, the band has released a hypnotic new single titled "Hippie Sunshine." The track, written and produced by frontman Serge Pizzorno, is described as a joyful, guitar-driven blast that explores a deeper, more poignant theme. According to Pizzorno, the song captures the "restless energy of hyper individuals who struggle to slow down and face reality, searching instead for the illusion of escape." He notes its blend of beauty and tragedy, reflecting a sense of disconnection beneath a seemingly limitless feeling.
"Hippie Sunshine" is the first taste of the band's upcoming ninth studio album, Act III, which is scheduled for release next year. The new material will be showcased live at the Finsbury Park event, where Kasabian will be joined by a strong lineup of special guests, including Louis Dunford, Razorlight, The K’s, Miles Kane, and SOFY.
Pre-sale tickets for the show begin on Thursday, September 25, at 9:30 AM BST, with the general sale starting the following day, Friday, September 26, at 9:30 AM BST. This landmark concert is set to be a major highlight of the 2026 summer music season.
