THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! JADE secures the biggest opening week for a debut album of 2025 so far, new in at Number 3.

Following an extensive ‘JADE Parade’ tour of UK record stores, THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! also tops the Official Record Store Chart: the biggest album of the past seven days in independent UK record shops.

It’s a fifth Top 10 album for Ohio duo Twenty One Pilots with Breach this week (4), joining 2015’s Blurryface (5), 2018’s Trench (2), 2021 collection Scaled and Icy (3) and 2024’s Clancy (2).

Breach also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, shifting the most copies on wax this week.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor celebrates her highest-charting LP in over a decade with Perimenopop (5). It’s Sophie’s sixth Top 10 album overall, now sitting alongside 2001 debut Read My Lips (2), 2007’s Trip The Light Fantastic (7), 2014’s Wanderlust (4), 2020 collection Songs From The Kitchen Disco (8) and 2023’s HANA (8).

Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, Sophie Ellis-Bextor says:

“Thank you! I'm all about making people feel part of the party. This album’s called Perimenopop, but I think everybody can sometimes feel like they need to flip the script on the gloomy. It's an album designed to put a little bit of a spring in your step, and it’s so nice to have done it with such a lovely, extraordinary, wise, interesting and rich community.”

Our final new entry of the week comes courtesy of rock icons Led Zeppelin, who land a 21st Top 40 album with their Live EP (16).
