Offset has insisted there is no sense of competition between himself and his estranged wife Cardi B over their new albums.

The Migos rapper released his third studio album, Kiari, on 22 August, and his estranged wife is gearing up to release her second album, Am I The Drama?, on 19 September.

During an interview with TMZ this week, Offset declared that Kiari was his "best solo work" yet and worthy of the Album of the Year Grammy.

The reporter then asked, "Are your kids gonna have both their parents nominated for Album of the Year? You guys gonna go up against each other maybe?"

In response, Offset made it clear there was no drama or sense of competition between the exes when it comes to their music.

"Never. No, no, no," Offset insisted. "I just want all peace, man, all for us to win, everybody gotta win. We got kids to take care of, we got to catch the dubs (wins)."

The hip-hop star also confirmed that he will be supporting the Bodak Yellow star's upcoming release.

"For sure," he said. "That s**t hard, she's gonna do her big one, too."

Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time in July 2024. They share three children: daughter Kulture, seven, son Wave, four, and 12-month-old daughter Blossom.

Explaining why he thinks he's in with a shot at Album of the Year, the 33-year-old, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, said, "It was an album that meant a lot to me... just me being personal, me being vulnerable, about life. People like it and that's a blessing."
