The UK is officially K-pop crazy, with a record-breaking seven K-pop tracks in this week’s Official Singles Chart Top 40.

HUNTR/X’s Golden leads the charge, with a fourth non-consecutive week at the summit.

And Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters phenomenon shows no sign of slowing down, with two more tunes from the film holding strong in this week’s Top 10: Saja Boys’ Soda Pop (4) and Your Idol (6). In the wider Top 40, we find TWICE’s contributions its soundtrack: Takedown lifts four to a new peak (27), as Strategy shows some endurance (39).

But the genre’s domination goes beyond KPop Demon Hunters. Following their record-breaking London Wembley Stadium shows earlier this month, BLACKPINK’s Diplo-produced banger JUMP is at Number 29. Meanwhile, South Korean boy band Stray Kids earn a second Top 40 single this week, as CEREMONY makes its debut (37).

Huge congratulations go to Olivia Dean, who becomes the first British female since Adele in 2021 to sink three tracks in the Top 10 simultaneously. Latest cut Man I Need is now Olivia’s highest-charting single to date, up six (2), with Nice To Each Other lifting two (7) and Sam Fender collab Rein Me In jumping one (10). Further down, Olivia’s 2023 tune Dive also sees uplift, breaking the Top 40 for the first time to clinch a brand-new peak (31). As well as this big chart week, Olivia has also just sold out her first UK Arena tour, including four O2 Arena shows.

Following her show-stopping Reading and Leeds Festival sets, Chappell Roan sees three tracks in this week’s Top 40: The Subway at Number 5, Pink Pony Club at 17 and HOT TO GO! a re-entry at 28.

As he banks his first Top 10 album with I Barely Know Her, 2025 breakout star sombr’s 12 to 12 reaches new heights, up three (11). It’s the first of three sombr tracks in the Top 40, joined by back to friends (24) and undressed (33).

This week’s highest new entry comes courtesy of Doja Cat. Jealous Type, the first single lifted from her upcoming fifth studio album Vie, earns Doja a 19th UK Top 40.

Coldplay’s catalogue reaps the rewards of their current record-breaking run of 10 London Wembley Stadium shows. 2000 classic Yellow soars 64 back into the Top 20 for the first time in 25 years (19). The band’s first chart-topping single, 2008’s Viva La Vida, vaults 60 (20), as Sparks lifts five to claim a new peak (22).

And finally, as she celebrates 20 years since the release of debut album Music Of The Sun, Rihanna’s Breakin’ Dishes earns her a 51st UK Top 40 single (40). The song, originally released on Rihanna’s chart-topping 2007 Good Girl Gone Bad album, is bolstered by a viral social media trend, which sees users question the loyalty of their partners.
