Wolf Alice lead an all-new midweek Top 5, looking to claim their second Number 1 album this week with the release of The Clearing (1). They bagged their first chart-topper four years ago with previous album Blue Weekend.

K-pop boy band Stray Kids are running closely behind with the release of KARMA (2). It could be a historic moment for the band who have never pierced the Top 10, with KARMA set to be their best-performing project to date.

Icelandic pop auteur Laufey is also set to place highly with A Matter of Time (3). Laufey achieved a Top 20 album in 2023 with Bewitched (13) but is well on her way to beat her personal best.

Metal legends Deftones are also on course for their third Top 5 album in the UK with private music (4). The American band also sank Top 5s with their last two studio albums, 2016’s Gore (5) and 2020’s Ohms (5).

Folk outfit Kingfishr are closing in on their first-ever UK Albums Chart entry with debut studio record Halcyon (5). Formed in 2022, this could be a momentous occasion for the Irish three- piece, who enjoyed a Top 5 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with their last LP Live From Dublin (5).

Pendulum are looking to make a welcome return to the Top 10 with their first album in seven years, Inertia (6). The group tasted Number 1 success 15 years ago with the iconic Immersion and are scaling those Top 10 heights once again.

Finishing the midweek Top 10 we have Royel Otis, who are in the running to gain their first charted album. The duo went viral in 2024 for their cover of The Cranberries hit song Linger and now are making pathways with the release of Hickey (8).

After recently securing a fourth Top 40 single with 12 to 12 (14), sombr is closing in on a Top 20 album with his debut album, I Barely Know Her (12).

Following the 10-year anniversary of Tyler, The Creator’s famed album Cherry Bomb, marked by the news of a collaboration between himself and his brand Golf Wang last Friday including the release of a special vinyl reissue, the revolutionary project finds itself back in the Top 20 this week (15). Cherry Bomb is currently on course to chart higher than it originally did back in 2015 (16).

UK rock stalwarts The Who have released a live album of one of their most notable concerts, Live At The Oval 1971 (18). The set became one of the most sought-after live recordings, finally being issued on digital platforms and vinyl some 54 years later.

Oasis are back in the charts with another release to celebrate Oasis Live ’25 tour, this time with their Complete Studio Album Collection (19). The collection was released on Friday on vinyl, selling out almost instantly.

BLACKPINK member JENNIE’s debut album Ruby makes its way back into the Top 40 this week (28). The album originally secured a Top 5 place back in March (3), at the time making her the highest charting K-pop female soloist on the Official Albums Chart.

And finally, John Fogerty is also looking to secure a place in the Top 40 with Legacy – The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years (35). Having won back his publishing rights, Fogerty celebrated the success by re-recording some of his greatest hits.
