Florence + The Machine has announced their sixth studio album, Everybody Scream, will be released on October 31, just in time for Halloween. The album's title track and accompanying video, directed by Autumn de Wilde, are available now.

The new album was written and produced by Florence Welch over the past two years in collaboration with a close circle of artists, including Mark Bowen of IDLES, Aaron Dessner, and Mitski. Bowen also makes an appearance in the music video for the title track.

The creative process for Everybody Scream was deeply influenced by Welch's personal journey. After undergoing lifesaving surgery during the Dance Fever tour, she explored themes of spiritual mysticism and folk horror as she grappled with the limits of her body and what it means to be "healed." The album is said to delve into the murky aspects of womanhood, partnership, aging, and death, exposing the darker side of the mundane.

This new project follows a career that has established Florence + The Machine as one of the most monumental acts of their generation. With five previous albums, multiple #1s in the U.S. and U.K., and a reputation for earth-shattering live shows, Florence has cemented her iconic status. She has collaborated with legendary artists from The Rolling Stones to Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, and her work continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Everybody Scream is now available for pre-order.
