Robbie Williams has announced a one-off, intimate live show in London to celebrate his forthcoming album, BRITPOP. On October 9, Williams will perform at the legendary Dingwalls in Camden, a venue that will host the most personal gig of his career.
During the special performance, Williams will play his entire debut album, Life Thru A Lens, as well as his new record, BRITPOP, in full. This unique event will give fans an exclusive chance to experience his career’s beginning and his latest work side-by-side.
Fans who pre-order the BRITPOP album from the official Robbie Williams store will receive early access to tickets for the show, making this a can't-miss opportunity. The new album features an impressive list of collaborators, including Chris Martin of Coldplay, Gaz Coombes from Supergrass, and Gary Barlow. The first single, "Rocket," even features a guitar riff from Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi.
The album's cover art is a direct tribute to the Britpop era, featuring a painting of Williams in the iconic red tracksuit he wore to the Glastonbury Festival in 1995.
Williams is currently on the European leg of his stadium and arena tour, which recently saw him perform for over 250,000 people in the UK. The tour has received critical acclaim and has included surprise guest appearances from artists like Lulu and Self Esteem.
More information on the Dingwalls show and tickets for the ongoing tour are available on Williams's official website.
