Belle and Sebastian will mark the 30th anniversaries of their seminal albums, Tigermilk and If You’re Feeling Sinister, with a special 2026 tour. The band will perform each album in its entirety during a series of two-night stands at classic venues across the UK, Europe, and North America.
First released in 1996, both records have long been considered foundational indie classics. Pitchfork hailed Tigermilk as "immaculate," while The Guardian praised If You’re Feeling Sinister as "subtly poetic, wickedly funny, and gorgeously melodic." This tour offers fans a unique opportunity to experience these influential albums performed live in full, followed by a second set of classic Belle and Sebastian hits.
The tour kicks off in February 2026 in Bern, Switzerland, before making its way across Europe, with stops in Paris, Amsterdam, and London's Royal Albert Hall. The band will then head to North America, playing two-night gigs in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The celebratory tour will culminate with two homecoming shows at the Kelvingrove Bandstand in Glasgow on June 26-27.
Tickets for the tour are now on sale, with pre-sales and a general sale happening throughout the week. Last year, frontman Stuart Murdoch released his debut novel, Nobody’s Empire, and the band’s most recent album, Late Developers, was released in 2023 to critical acclaim. This upcoming tour is a perfect way for both long-time fans and new listeners to dive into the band's celebrated early work.
