BBC Radio 6 Music has unveiled an exciting new autumn 2025 lineup. The schedule features a world-exclusive podcast hosted by Kate Moss, a new series with Beth Ditto, and a groundbreaking series dedicated to celebrating neurodivergent creativity.
In a new eight-part podcast titled Music Uncovered, David Bowie: Changeling, supermodel Kate Moss explores Bowie's artistic evolution from 1970 to 1975. The series will feature rare and unheard interviews with Bowie himself, as well as new conversations with artists he inspired, including Elton John, Chrissie Hynde, Boy George, and Iggy Pop.
"David Bowie was a very special person. Someone who was much more than a friend—he was an enigma," Moss said. "I was excited to help share the story of such an incredible transformation. This podcast is a real celebration of my friend, a true British icon."
The podcast will be available on BBC Sounds from September 10, with episodes airing on 6 Music starting September 22. This new series coincides with the launch of the David Bowie Centre at V&A East Storehouse, a new working archive for the largest collection dedicated to his life and works.
Additionally, Beth Ditto of The Gossip will join the 6 Music family with a regular spot on Nick Grimshaw's Breakfast Show every Tuesday, starting September 16. She'll also host a new series, Indie Forever Disco, celebrating the best indie hits for the dance floor.
The station will also debut Grounding, a 12-part series celebrating neurodivergent artists and creativity. Presented by four neurodivergent artists—AFRODEUTSCHE, Blindboyboatclub, Emma-Jean Thackray, and Gary Numan—the shows will explore how their neurodivergence shapes their relationship with music and their art.
This diverse new slate of programming reinforces BBC Radio 6 Music's commitment to delivering unique and compelling content that resonates with a broad audience.
