Jelly Roll has dropped a whopping 200 pounds (90 kilograms) amid his weight-loss journey.

In a video shared on the X account for the Tennessee Titans, the singer-rapper is seen giving a motivational speech to the National Football League (NFL) team recently.

While showcasing his slimmed-down physique, Nashville native Jelly - real name Jason DeFord - joked that, although he couldn't yet "get on the field," he was getting "close".

"I lost 200 pounds. I told coach (Brian Callahan) I'm getting a contract if I lose another 50 (22 kilograms)," he smiled, as the audience broke into a round of applause.

Elsewhere in his surprise speech, Jelly urged the athletes to get to know each other outside of the sport.

"(My band and I) learned it was the 23 hours we wasn't on the stage that we were building our connection (sic). Find a partner, find a friend, build a strength, build a relationship. Community - that stuff will translate to the field," the 40-year-old mused. "That's something else I learned. I started becoming a better songwriter when I started becoming a better husband. I started becoming a better performer when I started becoming a better human. I started becoming a better son. I started prioritising my momma's calls. It's funny how the heavens started opening up for me just 'cause of how I was treating relationships everywhere else."

Of late, Jelly has been trekking the globe with his Beautifully Broken Tour.

The Son of a Sinner hitmaker is next set to perform in Montreal, Canada on 16 August.
