Rising pop powerhouse Reneé Rapp has landed her first ever UK Number 1 album with second studio release, Bite Me.
Reneé has stormed to the top of the Official Albums Chart as the UK’s best-selling physical album of the week, helping her to a major career milestone. Her debut album Snow Angel gave Reneé her first UK Top 10 album, reaching Number 7 on the Official Albums Chart in 2023, and now Bite Me delivers a new UK personal best for the North Carolina star.
As their reunion tour rolls up to Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, following closely behind is Oasis, who continue to dominate the chart with three albums in the Top 10, compilation Time Flies – 1994-2009 (2), (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? (3), and their seminal debut Definitely Maybe (6).
As Chappell Roan tops this week’s Singles Chart with The Subway, her theatrical chart-topping debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess rebounds 21 places to Number 12 spot.
Following the release of its 20th anniversary edition, Sheffield singer Richard Hawley’s fourth studio album, 2005’s Coles Corner, re-enters at Number 16. The Mercury Prize-nominated record originally peaked at Number 37 back in 2006.
Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters rounds out the Top 20 with Roger Waters: This Is Not A Drill - Live From Prague, recorded at his Czech Republic O2 Arena show in May 2023 (20).
And finally, a new entry this week for Cork-born singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot with his second studio work Little Dreaming (31). It follows Ducrot’s chart-topping 2023 debut Victory.
