Jeezy has thanked his Uber driver for taking him on a 10-hour trip so he could play a show in Baltimore.
The rapper feared he would have to cancel the stop on his TM: 101 Live Tour when severe weather grounded all planes out of Atlanta airport.
He posted a clip on Instagram telling fans that he had decided to drive there, but was stuck in the middle of South Carolina after his car hit an object on the highway, puncturing the gas tank and causing fuel to leak.
The Seen It All rapper then introduced his Uber driver, Tanner.
"We called an Uber to take us to a rental car location at the airport. When the Uber driver arrived, he quickly loaded our bags and sped off. Eight minutes into the ride, I turned to him and said, 'Hey, we need to go to Baltimore.' Like real one, he didn't hesitate and just kept driving.
"Ten hours later, we arrived in Baltimore just 10 minutes before showtime," he shared.
Jeezy ended his post by saying Tanner had received VIP treatment at the show, and included a picture of them backstage, with Tanner rocking a Snowman T-shirt.
"I told him he made a lot of people happy tonight! Shout out to the real MVP, my Uber driver Tanner! Not all heroes wear capes!"
