This morning, Tyla joined Capital XTRA Breakfast with Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie.
Afrobeats and pop sensation Tyla revealed on Capital XTRA Breakfast this morning that she ‘prayed to God’ that she would be able to share her new track ‘Dynamite’ featuring Wizkid with the world, after the track took a painstaking three years to make.

RB: “You said you linked up with Wizkid as well. When did that link up happen? What sort of a moment was it for you? Did you manage to get into the studio? How was it for you?”
T: “It was very exciting, you know? Because at the time, I was very new. Like, a lot of people didn't know me, so I didn't expect him to be down for a session. But he was, and he liked some of the stuff I played him that I made at the time. And yeah, like, we literally made ‘Dynamite.’ We made ‘Dynamite,’ and I was sitting on that demo for three years, like playing it and dancing in my room and just praying to God. Like, ‘God, one day the song is going to come out,’ and it's coming out!”
SM: “So how come it took three years for you to give us that song?”
T: “Because we, like, just didn't end up finishing it. Like, we would talk about here and there, but it just didn't happen. You know how things are. We both are very busy, and we have a lot of things that we are doing. So, I just feel like this is the right time for it, you know? We want to party, you know? So, yeah.”
