Adam Lambert has called it quits with Oliver Gliese.
TMZ reports that the singer and his baby-faced boyfriend have quietly gone their separate ways - and that the romance fizzled out naturally after more than four years together.
Lambert and Gliese reportedly met and started dating during a trip to Mexico in 2020, where they were pictured frolicking in the waves.
They took their relationship public in February 2021, and by May of that year, were publicly showing off their love, hitting red carpets together around the world.
Gliese, who hails from Denmark and works in the fashion industry, was frequently seen cheering the former American Idol judge on at his performances and premieres.
In February 2023, Lambert told People: "We're really good at communicating. I think that is the key to a healthy relationship. Every couple runs into disagreements or misunderstandings, but if you can sit down and talk it out, that's the best. We have that, and I'm really thankful for it."
Less than a year after making his Broadway debut in Cabaret, Lambert is stepping into another musical next month, starring as Judas opposite Cynthia Erivo as Jesus in the Hollywood Bowl production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
"Theatre was pretty much my identity growing up," Lambert recalled on the latest episode of Stagecraft, Variety's theatre podcast. "It taught me to fight for what I wanted, and it lit a fire under my ass and made me want to be the best."
