West London trio White Lies – comprised of Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave, and Jack Lawrence-Brown – have officially announced details of their seventh studio album, 'Night Light,' set for release on Friday, November 7, 2025, via Play It Again Sam.

Accompanying the album announcement, the band has unveiled 'In The Middle,' the latest single to be lifted from the forthcoming long-player. Described as the album's closer and most propulsive track, 'In The Middle' pulses with a Motorik rhythm, driving synths, a vibrant bassline, and soaring vocals, culminating in an instrumental outro that showcases the band's musical instinct and telepathy.

Speaking about the new track, White Lies shared: "The lyrics to the verses for 'In The Middle' have been written in notebooks for nearly a decade, waiting for the right vessel... It's a song about moving, not necessarily moving on, but moving to another emotional place needed for growth. It also gives you another taste of our musical growth on this forthcoming album where we fully let our hair and scalps down to embrace a more experimental side of arrangement. And, by the way, it's a saxophone, not a flute."

'Night Light' was recorded at Church Studios in London, produced by Riley McIntrye and mixed by Chris Coady. The album features nine tracks, including the previously released 'Nothing On Me.'

For 'Night Light,' White Lies adopted a fresh approach, mastering songs live before recording them, a reversal of their usual process. This method, inspired by 1970s live-performance TV shows, allowed them to rehearse and refine tracks together, focusing on their 17-year musical bond and chemistry. The album spans progressive rock, disco, and synth-driven soundscapes, showcasing a band confident and creatively energized.

Having sold out multiple Brixton Academy and Hammersmith Apollo shows in the UK, and touring extensively worldwide, including a 10,000-capacity show in Mexico City in 2023, White Lies remain one of the UK's most enduring guitar bands.

Fans can pre-order 'Night Light' now, available on LP, CD, cassette, and digital download, with special clear, dark red, and marble-effect vinyl editions also available. The band will also embark on a European headline tour in early 2026, with several dates already sold out.
