Following its critically acclaimed debut at SXSW London earlier this year, STANS, the ambitious new documentary executive produced by Eminem, is set for a worldwide cinematic release. The film will launch exclusively at AMC Theatres in the U.S. and in cinemas globally through Trafalgar Releasing for a limited time, beginning Thursday, August 7, through August 10, 2025. A new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated film has also just been revealed.
This unconventional and fully authorized feature offers a raw, moving, and often humorous exploration of Eminem’s legendary career through the eyes of his most devoted fans. The documentary takes its title and inspiration from Eminem's iconic 2000 song "Stan," which famously gave rise to the term "stan" now officially recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary.
Directed by Steven Leckart, STANS delves deep into the emotional and transformative connection between the notoriously private artist and the superfans whose lives have been profoundly shaped by his music. Through stylized recreations, rare archival footage, and intimate original interviews, the film paints a revealing portrait of Eminem's journey and the passionate audience that has grown with him over decades.
In the U.S., AMC Theatres Distribution will release the film at over 135 AMC locations, offering at least two showtimes daily during its limited run. Internationally, Trafalgar Releasing will bring the film to over 1,600 theatres across more than 50 territories. Full international screening details will be available on stansmovie.com from Thursday, July 24 at 2 PM BST.
Adding to the excitement, STANS: THE OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK will also be available, featuring music that shaped the film's narrative, including previously unreleased tracks. Pre-orders for the soundtrack are live now in the U.S. This cinematic event promises a unique look into the world of superfandom and the enduring legacy of one of hip-hop's most impactful artists.
