Global music sensation Ed Sheeran is set to unveil a new collection of original artworks and unique prints, titled "Cosmic Carpark Paintings," available exclusively through HENI from July 10, 2025. This marks the first public opportunity for fans and collectors to acquire visual art by Sheeran, with all proceeds benefiting The Ed Sheeran Foundation, a UK-wide initiative dedicated to fostering inclusive, high-quality music education for children.

Sheeran's foray into painting began in 2019 following his record-breaking Divide tour. What started as a personal creative outlet, even gracing the artwork for his 2020 single 'Afterglow,' has now evolved into this public release. The "Cosmic Carpark Paintings," inspired by celestial motifs and created in his signature expressionist splash style, were painted last year in a disused carpark in London during breaks from his Mathematics Tour.

The initiative to sell these artworks was sparked by a conversation with close friend and renowned artist Damien Hirst. Hirst encouraged Sheeran to exhibit his work, leading to the decision to use the opportunity to raise funds for his foundation. "I started painting at the end of my Divide Tour in 2019 and it’s something that I’ve used as a creative outlet ever since," Sheeran stated. "I decided I’d use it as a way of raising funds for my Ed Sheeran Foundation, which supports music education in the UK and helps fund grassroot music projects, schools and equipment, so all kids have access to music."

The "Cosmic Carpark Paintings" will be exhibited at the HENI Gallery in London from July 11 to August 1, 2025. Original paintings will be available by application on HENI Primary, while unique prints can be purchased on HENI Editions, with prices for prints starting at $400 USD. Sheeran's share of all proceeds will go directly to The Ed Sheeran Foundation.
