Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter wrapped up a weekend of significant contemporary music at American Express presents BST Hyde Park on Sunday, July 6, 2025, with her second sold-out performance. The evening culminated in a surprise appearance by Duran Duran, who joined Carpenter on stage, delighting the capacity crowd.

The "Espresso" singer welcomed Simon Le Bon and John Taylor to perform the iconic 1982 hit "Hungry Like The Wolf," a moment that sent a ripple of excitement through the already energetic audience.

Carpenter's 18-song set commenced with her in a sparkling white ensemble, launching into tracks such as "Busy Woman," "Taste," and "Good Graces." The illuminated 'SC' motif at the stage's centre provided a visual focal point, as "Slim Pickins" prompted a mass singalong from the 65,000 attendees. The performance incorporated 1950s-style advertisements displayed on the large screens, complementing the set, which also featured Carpenter's 12-member dance crew.

"I’ve been dreaming of this day and this moment," Carpenter shared with her fans. "So, thank you everybody for spending this moment with us." Her new single, "Manchild," received a strong reception, while "Coincidence" and "Feather" offered a blend of emotional depth and party atmosphere. Before a tender rendition of "Sharpest Tool," she invited the audience to sing along, acknowledging the personal nature of the track.

Following a performance of "Because I Liked A Boy," the much-anticipated collaboration materialized. Carpenter, in a pink glittery dress, returned to the stage to perform "Bed Chem" on a circular bed prop, followed by "Juno" and "Please, Please, Please." The show reached its climax as Carpenter was lifted over the crowd on a crane-operated platform, exclaiming, "London, this is one of my biggest dreams come true, ever," before concluding with "Don’t Smile" and a final, explosive rendition of "Espresso," accompanied by fireworks.

Earlier in the day, the Great Oak Stage featured Clairo, delivering tracks like "Amoeba" and "Sofia." Olivia Dean made her BST Hyde Park debut, engaging the crowd with "Touching Toes" and "Dive," and dedicating "Carmen" to her grandmother's bravery. Amber Mark opened her set with "Stop Calling" and "Bubbles," also showcasing her new release "Sink In."

The Rainbow Stage hosted Chloe Qisha, who opened with "Happy Pride weekend!" and shared songs like "VCR Home Video" and "He Likes Boys." Miso Extra presented tracks including "Happy," while Tanner Adell opened the Great Oak Stage with "Going Blonde" and "Buckle Bunny." The Birdcage stage saw performances from IDER, DellaXOZ, and The Two Lips.

Following their surprise appearance, Duran Duran have announced a headline show at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
