Glastonbury’s Other Stage was transformed into a vibrant carnival of sound and community on Saturday night, as Ezra Collective brought their signature blend of jazz, Afrobeat, and pure joy to a colossal crowd. The Mercury Prize and BRIT-winning quintet delivered a blistering performance, widely considered one of the day's highlights.
The setlist was a dynamic journey through their acclaimed discography, featuring beloved tracks like "Dance, No One’s Watching," "Where I’m Meant To Be," and "You Can’t Steal My Joy." Fans were also treated to an exciting sneak peek of brand new material, hinting at what's next from the innovative group.
True to their reputation for collaboration, Ezra Collective welcomed a string of surprise guests to the stage. Loyle Carner joined them for a powerful rendition of "What Am I To Do?", followed by Kojey Radical electrifying the crowd with "No Confusion." Sasha Keable added her soulful touch to "Body Language." In a playful twist that sent the audience into raptures, the band even threw in a cover of the UK garage classic "A Little Bit of Luck."
In a touching tribute to their origins, Ezra Collective once again shared the stage with Kinetika Bloco and Jubilee Youth Club, the very youth club where bandleader and drummer Femi Koleoso continues to mentor young musicians. The grand finale saw a young member from Jubilee Youth Club, Amanda, take center stage to lead vocals on the band's breakout hit, "God Gave Me Feet For Dancing," culminating in a thunderous and deeply communal moment.
Ezra Collective continues to solidify their position as one of the UK’s most vital live acts, building a powerful musical legacy firmly rooted in joy, collaboration, and profound connection.
