Lorde could claim her first-ever Official Number 1 album with Virgin this week.

The New Zealand star’s fourth studio set, Virgin currently tracks to outperform 2013 debut Pure Heroine (4), 2017’s Melodrama (5) and 2021 LP Solar Power (2).

Bruce Springsteen hopes to net a 25th solo Top 10 record with Tracks II: The Lost Albums (2). Featuring 82 previously unreleased songs, the collection comprises seven unheard Springsteen albums made between 1983-2018.

Following his Glastonbury legends slot last weekend, Rod Stewart’s first solo career-spanning compilation Ultimate Hits is on course to become his 39th solo Top 10 LP (3).

Barbra Streisand’s latest collection of duets, The Secrets of Life: Partners, Volume 2, looks to earn the New York multihyphenate a 16th Top 10 album this week (9). The record includes collaborations with the likes of Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande.

Rounding out the midweek Top 10 are rock legends Motörhead, who approach a fifth Top 10 with their 1976 ‘lost’ album The Manticore Tapes (10). Recorded at the iconic Manticore Studios, the LP is the first-ever recording with the band’s original ‘Three Amigos’ line-up: Lemmy, Fast Eddie Clarke and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor.

Fresh off the back of his surprise Glastonbury Pyramid Stage performance last weekend, Lewis Capaldi sees his two studio albums surge midweek. 2019 debut Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent could rocket 99 spots (11), while 2023’s Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent also looks to re-enter the Top 40 (34). Lewis is also on course to claim this week’s Official Number 1 single with Survive.

BC Camplight, also known as New Jersey-born, Manchester-based songwriter and pianist Brian Christinzio, could sink his second UK Top 40 LP, and a personal best, with seventh studio album A Sober Conversation (20).

A 50th anniversary reissue of Mike Oldfield’s second studio release, 1974’s Hergest Ridge, may bolster it back into the Top 40 for the first time in as many years (29).

Alanis Morissette reaps the rewards of her Glastonbury performance, with 1995 chart-topper Jagged Little Pill set to fly back into the Top 40 for the first time since 2014 (30). And, finally, Twenty One Pilots’ fourth studio set Blurryface celebrates its 10th anniversary with a possible Top 40 return (39).
