YUNGBLUD leads an all-new midweek Top 5, currently on course for his third Official Number 1 album with fourth studio LP Idols.

The Doncaster-born star, real name Dominic Richard Harrison, previously saw success with 2019 EP the underrated youth (6), 2020 chart-topper weird! and 2022 Number 1 YUNGBLUD.

Last weekend, YUNGBLUD hosted his second BLUDFEST at The National Bowl, Milton Keynes, which saw him debut Idols tracks, performing alongside the likes of Chase Atlantic, Billy Idol, blackbear and Rachel Chinouriri.

LA trio HAIM approach a fourth Top 5 record with I quit this week (2). Sisters Alana, Danielle and Este Haim have previously charted with 2013 debut Days Are Gone (1), 2017’s Something To Tell You (2) and 2020 release Women In Music Pt III (1).

Loyle Carner looks to match his previous peak with hopefully ! (3). Benjamin Gerard Coyle-Larner’s fourth studio work could join 2017’s Yesterday’s Gone (14), 2019 LP Not Waving, But Drowning (3) and 2022’s hugo (3) in his Top 40 tally.

Benson Boone is hoping to bank a career-best, with second studio album American Heart currently at Number 4. Further down, Benson’s debut Fireworks & Rollerblades tracks to return to its previous Number 16 peak, up 13 places midweek.

Manchester rapper Aitch could round out an all-new Top 5 with sixth record 4 (5). Harrison Armstrong has previously seen success with 2019’s AitcH20 (3), 2020 LP Polaris (7) and 2022’s Close To Home (2).

Sheffield singer-songwriter Lucy Spraggan is on course to claim a third Official Top 10 album with latest collection Other Sides Of The Moon (8); the record looking to join 2013’s Join The Club (7) and 2021’s Choices (5).

Sheffield-formed heavy metal outfit Malevolence – Alex Taylor, Josh Baines, Konan Hall, Wilkie Robinson and Charlie Thorpe - might make their Official Albums Chart debut with fourth studio LP Where Only The Truth Is Spoken this week (10).

Ahead of their Live ’25 reunion tour next week, Oasis’s catalogue sees a surge midweek. (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? could jump nine (18), while Definitely Maybe looks to lift 10 (35).

As it’s remastered on vinyl for the first time, Duran Duran’s 1998 hits compilation Greatest eyes a return to the Top 40 for the first time in 14 years (31).

And finally, the highest climber midweek comes courtesy of Dua Lipa, whose latest album Radical Optimism rockets 82 places to ride just outside the midweek Top 40 (44), following the start of her sold-out Wembley Stadium shows last weekend.
