Elijah Blue Allman has reportedly been discharged from hospital after being treated for a drug overdose.
Last week, editors at TMZ reported that the musician - who is the son of Cher and the late Gregg Allman - had been rushed to a hospital in Southern California after emergency services responded to a call about a man "behaving erratically".
A spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department (SBCSD) later shared that "deputies located drugs inside the home" and an investigation was ongoing.
On Sunday, insiders confirmed to TMZ that Elijah had returned to his property near Joshua Tree and "continues to recover".
Representatives for the 48-year-old have not yet responded to the report.
And while Cher has not yet commented on her son's health, sources revealed to TMZ that the Believe hitmaker is "doing everything she can to get him the help he needs".
Meanwhile, Elijah's estranged wife, Marieangela King, issued a statement to People in which she voiced support for the artist.
"I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him," she said. "My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show."
Elijah has been open about his struggles with substance abuse in the past, and back in 2023, Cher filed for a conservatorship over the Deadsy vocalist in a bid to take control of his personal and financial affairs.
However, the motion for a temporary conservatorship was dismissed in early 2024, with a lawyer noting that the matter had been "privately resolved" via mediation.
