UK singles chart heats up: Sabrina Carpenter, Ravyn Lenae, and MK & Chrystal battle for Number 1
22 June 2025
The race for the UK's Official Singles Chart Number 1 is incredibly tight this week, with a thrilling three-way battle unfolding at the top. According to the Official Chart: First Look, which provides an early glimpse of the Top 20 based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports, the top three tracks are separated by a mere 1,500 chart units.
Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter is currently leading the pack with her hit single "Manchild," which has surged back to the top spot after just 48 hours. Hot on her heels is Ravyn Lenae's "Love Me Not," climbing one spot to Number 2. This position would mark a new peak for the track if it maintains its momentum through to Friday's Official Singles Chart Top 100.
Adding to the intense competition is MK ft. Chrystal with "Dior," which has jumped two places midweek to Number 3. Should "Dior" hold its position, it would secure a brand-new peak for the collaboration.
Further down the chart, a new collaboration between Sam Fender and Olivia Dean, titled "Rein Me In," is eyeing a potential Top 5 debut at Number 4. This would be Sam Fender's fourth Top 5 single and a significant first for Olivia Dean, marking a major milestone in her career.
Also making significant waves is the new track "Victory Lap," a collaboration between Fred again.., Skepta, and producer/rapper/streamer PlaqueBoyMax. This powerful team-up is already showing strong performance and is currently positioned as this week's highest new entry at Number 10.
Finally, following the recent announcement of her highly anticipated third album, Lola Young's "One Thing" is also gaining traction, currently eyeing a new peak at Number 17.
All eyes will be on the Official Charts Company this Friday to see which of these strong contenders ultimately claims the coveted Number 1 spot.
