17-time GRAMMY Award winning artist Sting stunned crowds as he headlined the Main Stage last night (Friday) at Sky presents the Isle of Wight Festival 2025.

Swapping the Fields Of Gold for the fields of Seaclose Park, the iconic musician took to the stage and performed a stunning set filled with hits from his acclaimed catalogue and longstanding career, including ‘Message In A Bottle’, ‘Roxanne’, and latest single ‘I Wrote Your Name Upon My Heart’. The performance marked his first live performance on the island since his incredible show in 2008 with the reformation of The Police. The headline set forms part of his STING 3.0 World Tour, representing a new dynamic era showcasing selections from his vast catalogue through the lens of a tight three-piece combo.

Friday saw the opening of the festival’s Main Stage and the first full day of music. Kickstarting the proceedings on the Main Stage were Lottery Winners, followed by Amy MacDonald treating fans to her classic hit ‘This Is The Life’ and more. Legendary band The Corrs kicked off the evening with a set of euphoric singalong moments to beloved songs like ‘Runaway’, ‘Breathless’ and more, before Sting’s captivating headline set. Electronic sensations Faithless’s euphoric dance tunes including ‘Insomnia’ ended the night’s Main Stage on a high.

Over on the Big Top stage, Crystal Tides opened the stage before Scottish 4 piece rock band Twin Atlantic and Amble stormed the stage with fantastic live sets. The Lathums took to the stage and delighted fans, before Dean Lewis wowed crowds with his stunning hit ‘Be Alright’ and more. Chart topping dance-pop group Clean Bandit headlined the Big Top with an electrifying set including their chart topping singles ‘Rather Be’, ‘Rockabye’ and more.

Those dressed in costume for this year's theme of Neon Jungle will flock to Strawberry Fields at 3pm today (Saturday 21st June) for the crowning of the festival’s best dressed. A display of bright and beautiful outfits will be hosted and judged by Miss Molly McQueen from Cirque de la Quirk.

Over the rest of the weekend, fans will enjoy a whole host of incredible acts across 13 stages and performances from headliners Stereophonics and Justin Timberlake alongside other artists from across the lineup including The Script, Busted, Razorlight, Yard Act, Pale Waves, Jess Glynne, James, Texas, Olly Murs and many more.

Across 4 days of music and entertainment, the festival site becomes home to over 55,000 people for a weekend that promises to once again deliver unforgettable moments and memories that will last a lifetime.
