Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman was reportedly rushed to hospital on Saturday after overdosing.

The 48-year-old was transported to a hospital in Joshua Tree, California after the alleged incident, according to TMZ.com. The publication reported that he was "lucky to have survived" but is receiving the "best possible care" as of Sunday.

Sources told the U.S. gossip site the Believe singer is focusing on "her son's well-being, and she's doing everything she can to get him the help he needs."

TMZ did not report the nature of the drugs Elijah may have taken.

Elijah is Cher's son by her late second ex-husband, Gregg Allman. During a 2014 interview, he admitted to having started taking drugs around the age of 11.

Cher filed for a temporary sole conservatorship over Elijah's finances in 2023, claiming that he suffered from "severe mental health and substance abuse issues."

However, she withdrew the request in September 2024.

Elijah is in the midst of a divorce from his estranged wife, Marieangela King, according to court documents obtained by The New York Post's Page Six column.
