Liz McClarnon is expecting her first baby after experiencing two miscarriages last year.
The Whole Again singer, who is 44, announced that she and husband Peter Cho have a baby on the way, and has opened up about her emotional pregnancy journey.
The Atomic Kitten star told the Daily Mirror that she and Cho, who married in 2023, started IVF early in their relationship. They had three failed embryo transfers in 2022, and experienced two miscarriages in 2024.
"I said I was done after the last one, and Peter was absolutely on board with that. He didn't say anything other than, 'This is your body and I'll support whatever you decide you want,' which was a huge thing for me," McClarnon said. "I felt so bad emotionally, it was really tough."
But then, spending the Christmas holiday with family "helped me heal".
"The whole process made me truly appreciate that having a baby is a miracle," she said. "There are so, so many things that need to happen correctly for someone to get pregnant, and for that to result in a healthy baby."
McClarnon is the longest-serving member of the girl group Atomic Kitten, with whom she has scored three number-one singles and two number-one albums.
The band split in 2004, then reformed in January 2013. They have been performing live ever since.
