Aubrey O'Day has confirmed that she will not appear as a witness during the trial against Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

O'Day, who was recruited for the girl group Danity Kane on Combs' 2005 TV show Making the Band, has been outspoken about the music mogul over the years.

While she has been contacted by America's Homeland Security about her claims, O'Day will not take to the stand during the trial, which is currently being held in New York.

"I'm not here to testify for the Diddy trial that I know of," O'Day, 41, said on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Presents: Aubrey O'Day Covering the Diddy Trial podcast on Friday. "I was contacted by Homeland Security and I did have a meeting with Homeland Security."

The singer sparked speculation that she would testify when she posted a video on Instagram from New York on Wednesday. She wrote in the caption, "Hey New York!!! Where y'all think I should head first?" with a weighing scale emoji, a symbol often associated with justice.

Explaining her post, she said on the podcast, "I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York because I want to make it clear to everyone that I am not here testifying."

O'Day's comments come shortly after her former Danity Kane bandmate Dawn Richard took to the stand on Friday. During her testimony, she claimed that she witnessed Combs physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie at his home in 2009.

Richard previously made the allegations in a lawsuit she filed against the rapper last year. She accused him of sexual abuse, which Combs denied via his lawyer at the time.

The 55-year-old hip-hop star is on trial for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.

The trial continues.
