Lily Allen has given a shout-out to the friends who attended her 40th birthday party despite "tricky circumstances".
The Smile singer, who reached the milestone age on 2 May, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of a cake topped with fresh fruit and the words "Lily 40" in pink icing.
In the accompanying caption, Lily praised her loved ones for showing up for her.
"Thank you to all my beauty friends and family who showed up for me and made my birthday a special one under some tricky circumstances. Love you all," she wrote.
Lily tagged designers Kim Jones and Katie Hillier, her Miss Me? podcast co-host Miquita Oliver, and Miquita's mum Andi Oliver, in the post.
And in her own message, Miquita gushed over her longtime friend.
"HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY SCHMILLY BON BILLY!! We love you Lily. Hope we celebrated you good and proper," she added.
While Lily didn't divulge any further details about her birthday celebrations, it's likely she was referring to recent reports alleging she and her husband David Harbour had split late last year.
Representatives for The Fear hitmaker and Stranger Things actor, who wed in 2020, have not yet commented on the speculation.
Previously, Lily was married to Sam Cooper. The former couple shares daughters Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 12.
