Bow Wow has confirmed he is dating Jada Pinkett Smith's niece, Jade Pinkett.
The rapper, real name Shad Moss, sparked romance rumours on New Year's Eve when he and the social media influencer both posted the same selfie on their Instagram Stories.
In the accompanying caption, Jade added: "New Year's, YR 2 for the books."
Reflecting on the hard launch of the relationship during a recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast, Bow Wow admitted he was surprised by the fan reaction.
"She wanted to show off and show me off," he told host Shannon Sharpe. "I thought it was lowkey. I didn't tag her... Here's this woman. It's New Year's, she's posting stuff. I don't want to make it an issue. She looks beautiful, and I look good."
The Let Me Hold You star went on to emphasise that he tries to avoid sharing too much about his personal life online.
"I always tell people my page is for my fans and it's for work," the 38-year-old continued.
Elsewhere, Bow Wow insisted he isn't thinking about marriage right now as tying the knot is also a "commitment to God".
"Me and her, we've had these talks... I'm not against anything, but when I get to that point, or if I ever do get to that point, I want to make sure I'm right," he declared. "I don't play with stuff like that. I don't want to talk about it, I don't want to plan it. Let's just roll, let's just have fun. If it gets there, it gets there."
Previously, Bow Wow was engaged to actress Erica Mena. He is a father to two children from past relationships.
