JoJo Siwa has broken her silence after splitting from Kath Ebbs following her exit from Celebrity Big Brother U.K.
Australian influencer Kath, who uses they/them pronouns, has claimed the Dance Moms star "dumped" them at the after-party for the British reality show's finale, which aired on 25 April.
In an emotional social media video, Kath said they were in a "complete state of shock" after JoJo allegedly told them "they had realised in the house that I wasn't the person that they wanted to spend the foreseeable" future with.
On Monday, JoJo explained her side of the story during an appearance alongside Chris on U.K. TV show This Morning.
"I'll be honest, that was not a plan," the 21-year-old said of the split. "That was not an intention, that was not supposed to happen like that."
"Initially, I was told that the wrap party was something they didn't want to attend and then about an hour into the wrap party they decided they wanted to," JoJo continued. "And so I was genuinely just going to have a conversation before and then it just led to another."
JoJo explained that the difficult conversation started when Kath asked her if she was happy, to which she replied that she wasn't.
The reality star also noted that being on Big Brother for three weeks gave her time to reflect on her life "away from outside opinions".
"There were things I knew I shouldn't be okay with and I'm not happy," she added. "I knew as soon as I got out I wanted to fix things and make the changes I needed to make."
The split comes after JoJo and Chris, 32, surprised fans with their close relationship and even sparked romance rumours as they shared several intimate moments on camera. However, they insisted their bond was platonic on This Morning.
JoJo and Kath, 27, started dating in January this year.
