Sean Ono Lennon has reminded fans that there's nothing but love between him and his brother Julian Lennon.
Sean posted a message to his Instagram Stories that encouraged fans to respect the fact that he and Julian - the only children of the late Beatles legend John Lennon - have a great relationship.
"Here, we do not accept comparisons and erroneous creations of fights about two people that John Lennon loved the most: his children," the post read.
The post also included a photo of Sean and Julian at the 1986 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony, when they inducted Elvis Presley.
Julian was born to John and his first wife, Cynthia, while Sean's mum is the Imagine singer's second wife, Yoko Ono.
The brothers, both accomplished musicians like their father, are close and often post about one another on social media.
In December, Julian shared a series of photos of the pair hanging out at The Dakota, the famous New York City apartment building where John lived with Sean and Ono.
John was shot and killed outside the Dakota in 1980, when he was 40 years old.
Julian told People in 2022 that Sean was his "best mate" and that they speak often.
"We're brothers and we love each other deeply on that level," he said. "We just talk daily, same as anybody would."
