Manchester’s own Aitch has officially announced his long-awaited sophomore album, 4, set for release on Friday, 20th June via NQ Records/The Orchard. The announcement follows the release of his latest single ‘BOUNCE’, now available to stream, accompanied by a high-energy music video. Pre-orders for 4 are now live.

Building on the success of his chart-topping debut Close To Home, Aitch’s second full-length project marks both a creative evolution and a celebration of his roots. 4 promises a fresh sound grounded in classic Hip-Hop influences—drawing on legends like Nas, 50 Cent, and Eminem—while retaining the signature wit, charm, and high-octane flows that have defined his meteoric rise.

“This album represents, first and foremost, my postcode,” Aitch explains. “It’s about repping M40 and letting people into the world we grew up in. This one’s not as personal or vulnerable as Close To Home—it’s a different side of my brain, just letting the vibes out.”

The album’s title pays homage to his North Manchester roots, with “4” symbolising his lifelong bond with the area. In true hometown hero fashion, Aitch hit the streets of Manchester in celebration of the album’s announcement, parading on a fire truck through Moston Lane, Wellington Mill, and the Northern Quarter with tracks from 4 blasting en route—an event held in partnership with Save Our Scene.

Already this year, Aitch has kept fans fed with new music including the club-ready ‘Raving In The Studio’ with Bou, the nostalgic ‘Straight Rhymez 2’, and a heavyweight link-up with AJ Tracey and Headie One on ‘Friday Prayer’.

Next up, he’ll join AJ Tracey for a back-to-back performance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool on Saturday 24th May, with more live dates soon to be announced.

With 4, Aitch isn’t just making noise—he’s making a statement. And it’s loud, proud, and straight out of Manchester.
