Will Smith has revealed he has a strange connection to Prince and Biggie Smalls.
The star has shared his interactions with the legendary musicians, admitting he spoke to them both just hours before they died.
Will, 56, told how he met Notorious B.I.G, also known as Biggie Smalls, just hours before he was murdered in 1997. He then told how he spoke to Prince hours before he died in 2016.
"I don't even want to say this out loud 'cause it's like a terrible jinx," he confessed on the Broken Record Podcast. "I met Biggie four hours before he got killed, and I talked to Prince eight hours before he died."
The Based on a True Story artist told how Prince had called him to pitch a business venture with the two of them and Jay-Z, suggesting they start an entertainment company.
"He had talked to Jay and he wanted to do it," he recalled. "And we talked that night, and in the morning, he was gone."
On Biggie's death, Will admitted the senseless drive-by shooting that resulted in the murder of the 24-year-old left him in tears.
"'Cause it was stupid and just centered on hip-hop for rapping. That one hurt me. It scared me, too," he admitted.
He went on to joke that it might be bad luck to cross paths with him.
"I don't know what that says about me," he laughed. "Don't call me, don't call me."
