Kylie Kelce has cleared up the "silly" rumours surrounding her first encounter with her brother-in-law's girlfriend Taylor Swift.
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kylie, who is married to Travis Kelce's older brother Jason, told host Alex Cooper that she couldn't understand why people were "disturbed" that she didn't meet the pop star for months.
Travis and Taylor made their relationship public in September 2023 but Kylie and Jason didn't meet the Shake It Off singer until Travis's American football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, played the Buffalo Bills in January 2024.
"People are deeply disturbed by this... There was like all of this stuff leading up to it about, 'Well, why haven't they met?' 'They're avoiding each other,'" Kylie said in a preview clip. "I'm not avoiding anyone. I'm more than happy to meet someone, especially someone that Travis is dating."
Kylie, who married Jason in 2018, pointed out that Taylor was "busy" with The Eras Tour and that she didn't meet Travis for a while after she started dating his brother.
"It was funny to me because I kept saying to people, 'I didn't meet Travis for probably close to a year when Jason and I were dating,'" she stated. "It's just silly to me that that's like, a storyline that's that's written."
Elsewhere in the interview, the 32-year-old media personality revealed that Travis did not announce to his family that he had started dating the pop superstar, however, Kylie and Jason "knew before everyone else knew".
"Jase and I found out together, but we knew before they hard launched with her going to a game," she said of Taylor's first appearance at one of Travis's games.
Kylie, who is expecting her fourth child, also confirmed that they had all been on a double date inside one of their homes.
